2026 Lewes Community Junior Tennis Clinics

at Cape Henlopen High School  ​

Junior clinics are a great way for beginners to get on the courts, have fun and learn to play the game of tennis.

Intermediate and advanced juniors can improve their game. We have enough staff on court to develop both beginners and advanced level juniors. Some of the proceeds go to the Cape boys tennis program as well as proceeds going toward a new hitting wall.

QuickStart Tennis format allows kids to rally and play real tennis at a young age, even shortly after picking up a racquet for the first time. With smaller courts, shorter racquets and special tennis balls, kids of all abilities can learn fast and have a fun experience. 

​

Older junior players use regular size courts and a quicker transition to point play. Beginners or more experienced players are welcome. Players will be separated by ability

Spring Junior Clinics

May 18 - June 10, Mon &Wed (May 18, 20, 27, June 1, 3, 8, 10)*No clinic Memorial Day, May 25. 

Ages 9-17, 4:30-5:30pm

Ages 5-8, 5:30-6:30pm

$20/per hour  clinic

*$10/clinic for high school players 9th grade and above.

25% sibling discount for clinics ($15/second child), 3rd child free.​

 

Cape Henlopen Viking Junior Tennis Camp

June 17-June 19 (Mon, Tues, & Wed) 

Kindergarten Thru 8th Grade

9am-12pm, $150

Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Courts will be split up in level of play. Open to all. Proceeds go to Cape boys tennis program.

Summer Junior Clinics 

June 22 - July 29, Mon & Wed (June 22, 24, 29, July 1, 6, 8,13, 15, 20, 22, 27,&29)

Ages 5-8, 9-10am 

Ages 9-17, 10-11am 

$20/per hour clinic​​

*$10/clinic for high school players 9th grade and above.

25% sibling discount for clinics ($15/second child), 3rd child free.​

Fall Junior Clinics

September 14- October 21, Mon & Wed (Sept  14, 16, 21 23 , 28, 30, Oct 5, 7 ,12, 14, 19 & 21) 

Ages 9-17, 4:30-5:30pm 

Ages 5-8, 5:30-6:30pm ​​

$20/per hour clinic​​

*$10/clinic for high school players 9th grade and above.

No pre-registration required. Register and submit payment at beginning of each clinic.

Tennis clinic waiver and release of liability form must be signed by parent or guardian before attending first session.
